This modern quilt pattern makes curved piecing easy. It's like driving a car, taking big turns is easier than doing U turns, so if you're new to curves, start with the larger sized quilt first. The smaller sized quilt is made with the same number of blocks but smaller. The curves can be cut with the Circle Savvy Ruler by Creative Grids or with the paper templates that are included in the pattern. The second color option reflects the tides in ocean hues and both color options use solids from the Confetti Cottons collection by Riley Blake Designs. Large prints also work well in the half circles.
