Summer Sewing Kids Camp

Do you want to learn how to sew? Want to learn the basics of what tools to use, and the difference in threads and fabrics? This kids camp will teach you the basics of sewing. We will use basic tools like a rotary cutter, cutting mat and discuss differences in threads and fabrics. These will be hands on classes where each student will make different projects to learn various sewing / crafting skills. This camp is for kids ages 10 and up that have a working sewing machine.*
You will learn how to select fabric and pick our your fabric for the projects you work on during the camp. Learn how to cut, layout, piece and iron in order to make your projects.
Bring your own working sewing machine and any supplies you already have (rotary cutter, cutting ruler, scissors, pins and thread - some of these tools will be available for use during class if you don't have them, or you may purchase them at the shop).
